Kumpulan yang berasal dari Perak,SOFEA.kumpulan yang terkenal dengan bermekap tebal melalui cover album dan pertunjukan pentas ini,nama asalnya SYJ (nama singkatan utk org yg menubuh kumpulan ini Allahyarham Syed Yusuf Jamaludin).kumpulan SYJ ini ditukar kepada nama SOFEA pada tahun 1983.Namun begitu,kumpulan ini mula merakamkan album penuh pada tahun 1987,album yang berjudul KEMBALI.lagu yang berjudul BUNGA PADANG PASIR ini terdapat di dalam album kumpulan ini yang bertajuk ANAK LIAR,album yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1988 .
